Register Your Passkey

Use the registration token you received. Depending on the token, Scone Control Plane will either collect your account details for first-time registration or confirm a new device passkey for an existing account.

Having trouble creating a passkey?

You do not need a physical security key. Opening this registration link directly on your phone is often the simplest fallback.

Enter your 32-character registration token to begin.

Your Details

Provide the requested information. If everything looks valid, your browser will ask you to create a passkey.

Passkey setup tips

If the desktop browser's QR-code passkey flow fails, open the registration link itself on your phone and complete registration in the phone browser. This creates the passkey directly on the phone instead of using the cross-device QR flow.

What if I need to use my desktop later? Depending on your passkey provider, the passkey may sync to your desktop browser. If it does not, choose "use another device" during desktop login and approve the login on your phone. After you are logged in, add a desktop passkey from your account/device settings if you want to sign in without the phone next time.

User IDs must satisfy RFC 1035 using one or more lowercase labels separated by dots. Each label must use 1 to 63 lowercase letters, digits, or hyphens, start with a letter, and end with a letter or digit.

Confirm New Device

This token will register another passkey for the existing account shown below.

After you confirm, your browser will ask you to create a new passkey. For testing, this can be completed on the same machine that already holds another passkey.

Passkey setup tips

A physical security key is optional. If the desktop QR-code flow fails, open the registration link itself on your phone and create the passkey directly in the phone browser.

You can still use a desktop later if the passkey syncs to that browser, by choosing "use another device" during desktop login, or by adding a desktop passkey after you sign in once.
